From the inception of the firm in 1987 Fundament & Associates, Inc. has designed and provided services to complex and highly energy efficient HVAC projects.
Our projects types include small alterations to existing buildings, healthcare renovation and new construction, K-12 renovation and new construction, higher education including recreational centers, student unions, learning resource centers, and science buildings.
In the area of science and technology the firm has produced small and large scale medical, biomedical, and science research laboratories including renovations and new construction.
All of our mechanical designs adhere to high efficiency and energy conservation congruent with the demanding market for low life cycle costs and building systems sustainability.
In addition to mechanical design, the firm produces services in the areas of mechanical analysis, energy efficiency and sustainability reports and provides peer review for complex projects.
The principal of the firm, Paulo Fundament, is a board member of the Mechanical Review Board overseeing mechanical design quality and performance issues for the entire California State University system.
